Pigu.lt improves performance: 94% of deliveries – on time or faster
The e-shopping center Pigu.lt has significantly increased the share of orders delivered to customers on time or faster. Currently, more than 9 out of 10 (94%) items kept in the warehouse reach customers on time or even faster than indicated during purchase. This figure has improved by almost 40 percent over the past two months.
“Our chosen strategy is delivering positive results – shifting from the quantity of assortment to the quality of products and services. Stronger quality control mechanisms also help us better fulfill promises to customers, including the decision to reduce the share of goods from Chinese sellers in our offering by more than 80%,” says Vytautas Romeika, Chief Marketing Officer of PHH Group.
The fastest deliveries reach customers when the goods are stored in the warehouse either by Marketplace sellers or by pigu.lt itself.
“To further increase the number of products delivered exactly on time or faster than expected, we are not only expanding our own assortment but also encouraging sellers to use a specially created service – Fulfillment by Pigu. This service enables merchants to keep their most popular products in our warehouse and entrust our team with packaging and shipping them to customers,” says V. Romeika.
According to Pigu.lt, sellers who use this service not only ensure greater delivery accuracy but also increase their sales by 2–2.5 times. “Customers tend to choose products that are delivered faster, and we clearly indicate this next to each item. Delivery speed becomes especially relevant during the pre-Christmas period, which we urge sellers to start preparing for already today,” notes V. Romeika.
