Žilėnas Returns to Lead Pigu.lt Marketplace, Executive Team Formation Completed

Raimondas Žilėnas Returns to Lead PHH Group Marketplace, Executive Team Formation Completed

As of August 4, Raimondas Žilėnas will return to lead the PHH Group Marketplace, the leading e-commerce group in the Baltics. After a two-year break, R. Žilėnas will once again take the helm of the e-commerce platform, replacing Adrian Rusek in this position. With this step, the formation of PHH Group’s top executive team is now complete.

“We highly value Raimondas’ return, which will allow us to continue pursuing our goal of strengthening the efficiency and performance of the Marketplace. At present, we are shifting our focus from product quantity to quality and continuing our investments in building customer trust. We’ve already taken an important step by reviewing and significantly reducing the number of Chinese sellers, selecting only those who can ensure a high-quality product offering,” said Dainius Liulys, CEO of the group.

“I’m excited to return to a company I spent 12 years helping to grow. I’ve already dedicated a lot of energy to this business and now feel a strong commitment to contribute further to the sustainable development of the Marketplace. I thrive on challenges and a fast-paced environment – and that’s exactly what defines the current reality of the Marketplace,” said R. Žilėnas.

With his return, PHH Group has finalized the formation of its top leadership team. Recently, Emilis Gustainis rejoined as Head of Finance, Vytautas Romeika was appointed as Chief Marketing Officer, Auksė Jurkienė took the role of Chief Commercial Officer, and Jūratė Balzerė returned as Head of HR. In February, Pigu.lt co-founder and shareholder Dainius Liulys also returned to a leadership position.

“A particularly strong team of professionals will enable us to successfully achieve our strategic objective: to return PHH Group to profitability by the end of this year. The good news is that we are already seeing positive results from the ongoing Marketplace reform. We’ve observed improved efficiency and results in marketing, while the commercial team is strategically optimizing and reviewing Pigu.lt’s product assortment to better meet our customers’ expectations. These changes mark a sustainable transformation and lay the groundwork for further strategic steps,” added D. Liulys.

Pigu.lt is part of PHH Group, the largest e-commerce company in the Baltics. The group was formed through the merger of Lithuania’s Pigu.lt and Finland’s Hobby Hall. PHH Group operates e-commerce platforms in Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Its Marketplace ecosystem hosts more than 4,000 sellers and receives around 150 million sessions annually.
